Day 162

Working on getting all the wiring finished Firewall Forward. Made cables for the battery power and ground. Also got the airframe ground connection made. Worked on getting the fuse box wire harnesses routed and connected. Got the fuel pump “B” wire cut and after we acquire some 18awg wire we’ll lengthen the plug for that so that it reaches better. Our goal is to have all the wiring finished tomorrow for the firewall forward.

We also did a little bit of work with the dash pad. When we went to try and fit the dash panel the other day we found that it does not fit inside the pre-cut section. It will require a significant amount of trimming. We made a stencil out of cardboard so that we will be able to mark and slowly trim away at the pad. We’re hoping not to make too much of a mess of things, though it is quite a tight fit.
