Day 166

Did some work today on the fuel system, firewall forward.

We started with making the wire extension for the auxiliary fuel pump from the Rotax wiring. We used the self soldering wire connectors with some red and white 18awg wire to match the existing wiring. We the. Used some stand-off’s to hold the wire away from the pump.

The correct fittings for our Gascolator also came, so we got those switched out. We were then able to make the fuel lines that ran from to and from the gascolator.

We have hooked up a few other fittings as we work to get all the fuel routes worked out.

We were also to get some answers regarding our long range fuel system. Hopefully we can get that sorted out in short order.

We have also had a question as to the proper routing of the coolant overflow line. The manual description and pictures contradict one another. So hopefully we get some answers to that soon as well.
