Day 207

Today we tested the brackets we made to hold our wings. With only minimal modifications to our original design they worked perfectly! Once we had our first wing mounted we cleaned it, taped it off and primed the leading edge. It laid down so nicely. Once it had had enough time to dry a little bit we mixed up some spot putty and using a razor blade filled in the small pin holes left behind some of the rivets.

Tomorrow we will take this wing down and put up the other one and do the same thing. After the weekend we will mount them on the plane for some final assemblies and to sand the primer in preparation for paint.
