Day 247
Air Ducts.
We 3D printed a pair of reducers to go from the NACA ducts to the vents on the dash. They turned out perfectly! We used SikaFlex to seal them to the fiberglass ducts. We also installed the new airflow vents into the dash. We’re now working to 3D print a pair of 90 degree fittings to go from the heater to the rear passenger ducts. Once we have those installed we will mount the dash and finish the ductwork connections.
We also tried to finish the power lead for the long range transfer pumps, but found out they had sent us the incorrect pin pigtail for us to use. We’re working to get that resolved.
We also started working on the upholstery for the seats and found out that there are large sections of them that do not get covered. Of course… haha. So we’re trying to decide if we paint the seats before we install the upholstery, or if we get some carpeting to glue on the portions that show.
