Day 267

Today we worked with an ANP at the airfield to help us do some initial checks on our plane. We went through and checked allthe wiring, control, fuel tanks, fuel systems, and motor.

We were able to bleed the brakes and get that system up and running.

Today we also got the propellers installed! They went together very well we installed them per the airmaster prop installation guidelines.

We even got the battery hooked up for the first time! We checked all the lights and control servos. They were all working properly. We then turned on the avionics and they all lit up beautifully. When we went to turn power to the motor (but not start it yet) we discovered we had mistakenly placed a ground wire in the incorrect location. So after we fix that we would be able to continue with the motor run up.

We were super busy today so we didn’t get many pictures, but it will be exciting to post some soon.
