Wing tip fitment right wing

Today we fitted the right wingtip and drilled all holes out. First we had to get the wingtip to fit inside the skin which required a bit of sanding around the trail edge side of the wingtip. Of course we used proper protective masks and gloves because you don't want to inhale the dust coming from that composite part. This process took some trial and error but eventually we managed to fit the wingtip in and it looked quite nice. We will probably have to use a filler/putty to completely make it flush with the wing but it fitted better than expected. It was a bit difficult to see whether the wingtip actually touched the rib flange inside the wing or if it jammed. So we marked out the rivet holes through the skin with a sharpie and measured the distance from the mark to the wingtip edge and compared that to the distance from the rivet hole to the rib flange. They corresponded so that confirmed that the wingtip was pushed in all the way, but the distance was not always 10 mm as described in the manual. However, the distance from the rivet hole to the rib flange also wasn't 10 mm but more like 8 so we just kept it this way.

Lastly, we match drilled the rivet holes through the wing tip and clecoed it in place. We started in the middle of the wingtip and continued outwards.
