Tuesday, 4/14/2 Gusset Work

Finished the second end wing rib gusset. The wood splintered on the outer ply, as expected, and I'm happy I left extra material just to be safe. The chipped ply and edge of the holes will be sealed with T-88.

As I finished the last hole, I realized that I should have clamped both parts together and cut and sanded them at the same time. Tricks like that are forgotten when one cant work often enough. I am going to try to log at least 10 hours a week going forward, as I am just not making enough progress.
