Fuel Tanks Mar 28 2026

Gave a fellow builder and his son a tour of work this morning so got a late start, around noon. Was able to seal in the fuel senders today. Used a solid ring that will allow me to be able to remove the fuel sender at a later date should i need/want to. Will provide a nice access hole to stick a borescope into to check the coarse filter inside the tank. Prepped and scuffed both skins in preparation for sealant, as well as dimpled all required holes. Made sure to mark the rear holes that are already countersunk for the rear baffle, and the 6 holes for the drain that don't require dimpling. Another long day today.
