Fuel Tanks Mar 29 2026

The proseal fun has begun. Had my friend Mike over from work, who got to complete his first rivet and got another signature on the plane! Completed match drilling the holes for the fuel return bung. Installed the fuel bung for fuel leaving the tank, as well as the 'nut' for the breather valve and got that riveted and prosealed. The fuel cap/fill flange and fuel drain flanges were also installed. Wrapped up the day with installing the tip rib, and the first two main ribs. Found that 60g of pro-seal is enough for two ribs and plenty of time to install both and complete the cleanup within the two hour working time of the batch of proseal.
