Main Landing Gear Assembly
The Pulsar I Main Landing gear came already molded from the factory. It is made up of composite materials. A rigid foam core with uni-directional glass woven in layers.
There was an addendum added by the manufacturer later on that called for strengthening the Main Landing Gear by adding additional layers of fiberglass tape in certain places on the main gear frame. At this point I have the main gear attached and I was able to strengthen half of the suggested strengthening process.
There are many kits that were built back in the 1990's that never incorporated the added fiberglass and they have never had a single issue. I wanted to add the fiberglass because I know that every pilot sometimes makes a harder landing than desired.

You might notice the different colors of the two gear attachment tab fiberglass layups. This is because one side was done with a different batch of Aero-Poxy than the other You can clearly see one side is more red and the opposite s more green.
