Finished control arm riveting and prepared trim hinge
Riveted the outstanding two stainless steel rivets for the elevator control arm left bracket which have finally arrived. The elevator trim tab hinge eventually arrived too, so that was disassembled, deburred and scuffed for priming.
Fitted one M5 rivnut to the bottom of the rudder for the static wick earth strap. Applied Loctite 277 to ensure security. Drill speed 2 (should have been 1), screw setting, torque 19 for the rivnut tool. Loosely fitted the earth strap with a spare screw and tested for electrical continuity to the static wick base, which was fine even without the skin being properly attached.
