Didn’t rivet all the way to the end so that could slip the composite fuselage in



Drilling to put the rivnuts in for the inspection plate


Rivnuts Rule of 2 - we added 2 mil to the rivnut size to drill the hole to install the rivnut - so for a 4 mil rivnut we drilled 6 mil holes.




Putting locktite on the rivnuts else they could spin when screwing into them. We test them with a cleaning tool to ensure they are sound.

On top is the GMU 11 mounting bracket (the magnetometer that will provide us heading reference and 3 axsis sensing of the earths magnetic field to supply the Air Data, Attitude Heading Reference System (ADAHRS) which will be screwed on with copper screws so as not to interfere with the magnetometer









Elevator control brackets and the torque tube reinforcing brackets (the latter needed a little modification to fit property)
