Park Brake, Boot cowl, Back Seat

Park Brake

Installed the park brake behind the rudder pedals, mounted it on a small piece of aluminium angle bracket. Ran remaining hard lines to bulkhead B. Ordered flexible brake lines for rest of system.

Boot Cowl

Started by fabricating an angle bracket to attach the instrument panel to the top of the boot cowl. Also made a card template for the boot cowl sides.

Back Seat

Corrosion proofed the back seat pans.

Door Hinges

I removed the standard kit door hinges from the airframe and may have taken it back too far.

I need to get this checked further. My mentor has suggested filing back carefully to check whether any thinning of the tube wall has occurred although it’s still difficult to tell.
