Skylight and Control assembly

Today I modified the skylight frame to accept a single large piece of acrylic, captured around all edges. I riveted and screwed the rear frame into place.

I also disassembled the controls as they are still binding in pitch. After removing them completely I could see two problems - one of the mounting tabs is not completely level, and when tightened the bolts are pulling the bushings laterally and “squeezing” them together causing them to bind. I drilled two of the holes slightly over size and this relieved a lot of the friction.
