Return after a weeks break.

I did very little the past week and headed to the hills for some overnight hiking and a well earned break.

Today I installed the door struts after welding both strut attachments into place on the doors and drilling the other end onto the door frame.

I had a friend drop by and weld patches on the main frame door cluster for me. He is a professional airframe welder. Unfortunately when removing the lower door hinges I had ground back too much of the weld. Brett did an excellent job of welding the patches on.

I also secured the ELT cabling to one of the top stringers using cable ties.
