Paint preparation

Gave the workshop a good clean today. I transferred a number of items to my self storage unit, and brought out the elevators/tailplanes and gearlegs to prepare for painting. I need to install some access port rings on the underside of the gearlegs.

Then the first step is to wash and degrease, and seal all fabric parts, ready for Ekofill primer.

Aluminium parts need to be degreased, scuffed and etched, ready for priming.

At this stage I plan to build a simple spray booth inside the garage to keep dust out, and paint spray away from the tools.
