Sealing and Priming Empennage

I managed to “borrow” some EkoBond adhesive from my friend Dave, until mine arrives to replace it. This has enabled me to continue preparing the empennage for painting. So today I sealed and primed the tail-plane, rudder and elevators.

There is still some work to do on the fuselage as well. I need to sand the underside, and also add another spray coat to the interior and sand that.

Then I will begin on the aluminium panels of the boot cowl and doors. I expect it to take a few more weeks as it’s fairly time consuming work.
