Empennage primer/filler

I got underway with the spray coat primer/filler on the empennage. It seemed to get well. Also did a couple of touch up passes on the fuselage where I had sanded back to remove glue runs. So far it’s all looking quite good.

Tomorrow I will sand the empennage and prepare for the top coat. I’m yet to decide what to do with the hinge fittings. I tried to mask them but this was difficult so I’ve sanded them and sprayed. Tomorrow I’ll see how this has worked. Hopefully it’s satisfactory, then I’ll paint them orange the same as the top coat.
