Sanding empennage and fuselage belly

More preparation today. I finished sanding the empennage and fuselage belly, and went over them with the covering iron to ensure the covering is secure. Also purchased some new drop sheets to prepare the workshop for the top coat. I plan to spray a top coat on the fuselage belly to test the color, and my ability to spray it. If it is bright enough I will proceed with the rest. If not, then I’ll wait for the white primer to arrive, but that may take many weeks.

My Dynon order was finally dispatched today. It was due to dispatch just prior to Xmas so they’ve been pretty slow. They also said it would ship the same day I paid for it, but the funds were received by them 7 days ago and they’ve delayed shipping until today. Not quite what I was expecting from Dynon.
