Brakes, Park Brake, Manifold pressure line, Cabin heat intake.
Brakes
This morning I added Adel clamps to secure the lower 3003 brake lines. Then I mounted the park brake cable and secured it to the park brake valve.
The main issue was to do it in a way that minimizes the risk of the cable moving such that the park brake turns ON inadvertently. The cable inner has been wound around the AN3 bolt twice so it can’t slip, and the cable outer is secured in several places.
Manifold Pressure line
I put a bulkhead fitting through the firewall and connected the pressure line to it, and secured it using an Adel clamp.
Cabin Heat intake
I had to relocate the cabin head intake for the second heat muff. Normally with the Vans FWF kit it would be mounted in the front left baffle ramp. But I was short on space, so I’ve relocated it to the starboard aft baffle above where the other intake is. The risk is that this may make it difficult to cool the number 5 cylinder, but I had run out of options and did it anyway.
