Avionics cabling, skylight.
Avionics
This evening I spent several hours re-routing wires and cable tying them neatly. Ive used Adel clamps where I can, and made stand-offs using two cable ties in other places. I wrapped as many wires together as possible to reduce the number of single wires and make it neater.
Skylight
I removed the Lexan skylight after discovering several small cracks around the bolt holes. It appears that they may have been caused by using loctite and that some of it might have come on contact with the Lexan. I’m now trying to decide what to do, whether to try another piece of Lexan, or whether to heat mold a piece of Acrylic. Acrylic isn’t as strong, but it is much more resistant to fuel and thread locker.
