Stick grips

I purchased some replacement machine screws for the stick grips. I think the thread on the previous ones had become cross threaded, probably I should have drilled a larger hole through the steel so it didn’t interfere with the threads. I added some threadlocker and they’re secure now.

Baffle tie rods

I followed the Vans instructions and made up the 4 baffle tie rods. Both ends of each rod needed to be threaded to 6-32. I was pleased with how they turned out.

They're now in place on the baffles.

Spark plug access holes

These large washers have a dimple in the center and are used to close off the access to the upper rear spark plug. The front baffles can be easily removed, but the rear ones can’t, so this allows the plugs to be accessed without removing the baffles.
