Air intake, Cables, Oil Breather

Air Intake

More sanding on the air intake this afternoon, and I have it a final coat of primer. It’s turned out pretty good.

Cables

I cable tied all the engine cables into place. Then I added a plastic sheath to the PPT wires and secured them with cable ties.

Oil Breather

I’ve got the oil breather tube in place, but ran into difficulty securing it with steel Adel Clamps. The issue is that they tend to spring open, and the area I’m working in is very confined. So I’ve ordered some aluminium clamps which should be easier to work with.

I drilled a hole near the top of the breather and folder the upper tube inwards using a screw driver. If the lower tube ever becomes blocked then this should allow it to continue breathing,
