Fuel overflow, Alternate Air, Baffle Seals

Fuel overflow

I secured the lower end of the fuel pump overflow to the exhaust cross-brace.

Alternate Air

After a lot of deliberation I went ahead and added the alternate air control and connected it to the FAB. Unfortunately it meant adding the control to the instrument panel, and because I didn’t want two controls that were identical in close proximity it meant putting it away from the parking brake control. That said, it’s done now and I’m moving forward with everything.

Baffle Seals

I added circular baffle seals around both engine mounts and riveted them into place. They’ve also got high temperature silicon to adhere them to the baffles.

I then went ahead and added paper clips to the baffles and put the cowling back on with cowl doors attached. This moved all the paper clips to the correct height and tomorrow I’ll make up the remaining baffles.
