Miscellaneous, Rear bulkhead, Steel lock nuts, Baffles silicon
Miscellaneous
I removed the carpet and floor panels and cleaned the inside with the air gun. There’s a few small remaining jobs to do there that I’ll do over the next few days.
I also added another Adel clamp to the spark plug leads, and trimmed a corner off the baffles to remove a sharp edge.
Rear bulkhead
I had forgotten to drill screw holes in the rear bulkhead when I made it, so I marked and drilled the, tonight, followed by a trial fitting. It seems to fit well.
Steel lock nuts
I systematically went through the engine bay and replaced all temporary nuts with steel locking nuts, and marked the, with a paint pen.
Baffle sealing
The baffles are a pretty good fit, but there are still some gaps. This evening I started sealing them with high temperature silicone. I’ll do more tomorrow. It’s a messy job.
