Windshield fairing
Today I drilled the fairing for #8 screws. I’ll add nutplates for the 2 screws nearest both door pillars as there’s not enough room to fit hands in.
Boot cowls
I used adhesive tape to hold the small brackets in place that support the windshield from behind. Then after removing the windshield I was able to drill the holes. These will also be held in place by #8 screws,
Avionics
Now that I’m getting close to closing up the boot cowl permanently, I spent some time finishing cable tying the wiring looms. I also torqued the bolts on the Dynon ACM and added some plastic sleeving to prevent chaffing in places.
