Windshield edges

I used silicon to adhere the aluminium strips to the sides of the windshield today, after masking off all around the area, with good results.

On another note, my Lexan skylight has somehow been damaged which is disheartening. I think it’s overspray from last weeks spray painting, although not sure how it happened as I spent a lot of time sealing the spray booth. Anyway, it needs to be made (again). I’ll look into using acrylic this time because the Lexan is proving to be very susceptible to chemicals. If I can heat form a couple of small bends in the acrylic then it might be a better way to go.
