Gascolator access

Today’s job was to cut an access panel into the stainless tunnel in order to more easily access the gascolator. I’ve added 8 nutplates and will make a cover for it.

The idea behind this is because to remove the whole tunnel is a bigger job than I had initially thought. This way I can easily remove the panel, then remove and clean the gascolator bowl and check the filter.

I removed the masking tapes from around the windshield, then did a few small touch ups to complete the job.
