Kydex dashboard cover

I made a dashboard cover from a remaining sheet of thin Kydex that I had. It wasn’t my first choice as it’s slightly heavier than the vinyl that I had in mind. However it does give a nice finish and I’ll glue a rubber edge piece along the edge to soften the join.

This evening I found an adhesive that would bond the rubber edging strip to the Kydex. I plan to glue some Velcro strips underneath to hold the cover firmly in place.
