Air intake baffles

I removed the engine cowls and fabricated the intake baffles. I decided to use .025 aluminium as a backing plate for the rivets. Rivets were countersunk into the fibreglass. Because of the inlet shape the baffle seals didn’t want to sit flat with the engine baffles, so I split them into several pieces and made cuts in some places to remove tension and allow them to sit flat.

The lock wire that can be seen in the photo above is to keep the blast tube held in position on the alternator.
