Fuel tank connections, tank cover, door trim, tailplane fairings

Fuel tank connections

I made some short fuel lines from the tanks to the wing root and used a beading tool to put a bead inside the fuel pipe. When the wing is in place I plan to use flexible hose to make the connection for the fore and aft fuel lines. For the sight gauges I'll do a direct hard connection as they are easier to access.

Ill add grommets to the holes in the ribs.

Tank cover

I put the left tank cover in position and drilled the hole for the drain valve.

Door trim

This morning I removed both doors and used superglue to adhere a flexible rubber edging strip around the edge. This should help to seal against cold sir, and will also soften the edge as when opened it would otherwise present a sharp surface.

Tailplane fairings

I also put flexible edging on the tailplane fairings, and most other trim pieces.
