Aircraft assembly

Today I finished most of the assembly tasks. There's a few more to go, but they shouldn't be required for any of the checks. We were focused on completing tasks for tomorrow's 100 hour/annual check.

Todays items included:

  1. Torqued the propeller bolts to 60ft/lbs.
  2. Checked control cable tension and lock wired one flap cable.
  3. Tightened lock nuts on the left aileron push rod.
  4. Tightened the oil and fuel lines FWF.
  5. Replaced two AN4 bolts attaching the transducer.
  6. Cut the original cockpit trim cable fairlead holder open and attached a new one that I fabricated in order to raise the trim cables 1/2 and inch.
  7. Removed the interior ready for the inspection.
  8. Tightened and put split pins in the rod end nuts at the top of the landing gear struts.
  9. Changed the tailwheel springs over to the compression springs that I purchased from AircraftSpruce.
  10. Calibrated the prop Governor so that it's clear of the nose cowling.
  11. Printed off the maintenance schedule and Pilot Operating Handbook.
