Elevator Pushrods

I first spent some time online viewing some EAA Hints for Homebuilders videos regarding safety wire usage. Safety wiring fasteners is as much art as skill for a professional looking result. Then ordered a few things online that I've needed. A spool of .042 safety wire, some duckbill pliers and a paper copy of AC 43.13. I've been using a digital copy but I've really wanted a paper copy I can make notes in. Then spent a couple hours going through all of Section 35, Forward Upper Fuselage, to make sure all the steps were completed correctly by the Quick Build folks and familiarize myself with the structure, canopy jettison linkage and any warnings or important notes in that section. I found no discrepancies there so it was on to Section 36, Aileron and Elevator Systems. First off was fabricating the 3 elevator pushrod tubes and I made good progress there. Since there are multiple parts that need to be primed I'm going to complete anything that requires that then prime them all at one time.
