Rudder Control Pedals

Since we couldn't continue on the left wing due to the bottom skins misaligning with the main spar, we decided to do some fuselage work.

Today we made the rudder control pedal assembly. We started by collecting all the parts, deburring and priming them. Then it was just a matter of checking if the pushrod turned smoothly, which it did, and riveting everything in place. We had to sand of 2 mm from the rudder control stops to prevent them from interfering with the brackets. Luckily this was done pretty quickly in our belt sander. We did make sure that there was still more than 10 mm of overlap between the control stops.
