Park Brake Valve, Cargo Door, Brake Lines, Static Port Mount, AN Brake fittings

Park Brake Valve

I added a .025 doubler to the Station B bulkhead and mounted the Park Brake Valve to it. Seems to be a pretty good spot to locate the valve, allowing all the lines to flow and it’s tucked out of the way.

Cargo Door

The adhesive cured well overnight. I fabricated a cover plate for the interior of the latch and also used adhesive to mount it. I added a small plate to grab and squeeze the door latch against. Happy with how it all turned out.

Static Port Mount

Unfortunately my previous attempts at making a mount for the static ports weren’t successful so I made two more mounting plates and riveted them in place. This time it looks good.

AN Brake fittings

I removed all four brake cylinders and primed and sealed the AN NPT fittings and screwed them into place. These should all seal well.

Brake Lines

Yesterday the aluminium flexible brake lines arrived, so after sealing the AN fittings I attached the new brake lines.

I also made up the remaining gear leg hard brake line with an S bend in it. I still need to add two washers so the bulkhead fittings at top of the gear legs can be tightened.
