EkoFiller sanding
Continued sanding the EkoFill. Removed the blisters on the gear leg and fuselage and re-filled them. Stewart Systems advised that the filler coat was better applied thinner and that the blisters were likely caused by EkoBond underneath not dry - possible as there some areas where there had been some drips of EkoBond, even though I had finished applying it last week. It’s all now ready for the final spray coat of EkoFill.
I also got the spray gun and air compressor set up for painting. This involved converting the hose to high flow fittings and attaching a pressure gauge to the spray gun. It’s all ready to go now, but I still need to hang the plastic sheets for my spray booth which I will do tomorrow.
