Avionics

My Dynon avionics arrived yesterday so I spent some time checking against the packing slip - there were some errors and one missing part which they’ve now dispatched.

This afternoon I laid out the various components to get an idea of how the cables connect. Also how I might lay them out behind the panel.

The PS Engineering intercom is very long, unlike the Dynon products. So it will protrude significantly behind the panel and this effects my design of having a fold down panel. Not sure how I’ll get around this yet. But the main avionics components are quite small and can be positioned close to each other. The ACM is large and flat, and will mount either horizontally or vertically.

I’ll wait until the painting is finished before I begin installing the avionics as it’s just too messy otherwise.
