Air Intake

More work today on the air intake. The fibreglass turned out well. I trimmed the flange to size and shape, sanded it and added 2 coats of lightweight body filler, sanding in between.

Landing light

I made a mount for the landing light, intending to glass the mount into the nose bowl. However it’s going to be a tight fit due to the size of the light. At this stage I’ve decided to progress without it. I might mount it in the outer wing instead.

CHT/EGT Probes

I attached the CHT probes and EGT probes, and cables tied them temporarily in place. This gives me a good idea of how to run them back to the firewall. I’ll eventually use Adel clamps, and attach the spark plug leads to the same wiring runs.
