Nutplates, Fuel tank fittings
Nutplates
I finished making the cover plates for the inspection ports, and riveted the nutplates on. Just some dimpling to finish them and they’ll be done.
Fuel tank fittings
I made a start with the fuel tank fittings. It requires a couple of straight, and a couple of 45° NPT to Normal AN6 fittings. Also 2 finger strainers per tank, and a fuel drain. I’ll seal them all carefully with a small amount of Loctite 569.
I also got out the Pitot tube and Magnetometer, and Air temperature sensor, to start thinking about how I’ll mount them. I’ve got a boom type Pitot, so will have to get creative with that.
