Nutplates, Begin Left Wing
Nutplates
I finished the last few nutplates on the wingtip rib of the right wing and called it complete. I do still have to make up the fuel lines from the tank to the fuselage, and I had intended to lift the wing into position to do that. However it required more manpower than I had to hand and I decided it could wait until the wings are assembled in the hangar. Same for the fuselage to wing trim and the flap extension fairing.
Begin Left Wing
I moved the right wing against the workshop wall sitting carefully on some polystyrene. Originally I had planned to move it back down to the storage unit, but I'm planning to paint it later this month so prefer to keep it on hand.
Next, we uncrated the left wing and reassembled the work bench. I began by removing the fuel tank and drilling the fuel bay cover nutplate holes. I've done around 2/3 of them and will finish this off tomorrow.
